The 2023 Fair is just around the corner.   Not only are we hoping that everyone in Peoria Camera Club will enter this year, but we also need your help from July 14 to 23. When the prints are displayed during the fair, we need people to help keep an eye on the prints, encourage fair goers to vote for their favorite color and B&W photo, and help answer questions.  It’s a great time to encourage others to enter the fair in the future, or maybe learn more about PCC.

Exposition Gardens, 1601 West Northmoor Rd, Peoria, Illinois.

Important dates to keep in mind: 
•    July 1st – Deadline to submit your entry form
•    July 14th and 15th – Print turn in from 1pm to 5:30pm
•    July 16th – Judging from 11am to 2pm
•    July 17th– Hang the prints in the photography barn
•    July 18th-22nd – Fair is open 4pm to 9pm Tues – Friday, Noon to 9pm Saturday
•    July 23rd– Pick up prints – 1pm to 3pm 

Lots are Large Color, Small Color, Large B&W, Small B&W, They will also have the “Creative/Digitally Altered” lot and the theme competition for this year is “REFLECTIONS”.  There are so many possibilities for reflections. It should be a great competition.

FAIR ALERT
The HOI Fair (www.heartofillinoisfair.com) is having some technical difficulties updating their website’s ‘Fair Book and Forms’ so the “Department 14: Photography” Rules Sheet is still for 2022. The same rules will be in effect for this year, with just the dates and the theme updated.
The 2023 theme is Reflections.
The total premiums offered is $1,080.00.
Start now to prepare your prints for the July 14-15 turn-in.
Watch for the updates for submitting your entry form that is due by July 1.
